Deep State

DeepState, later rebranded “GroundShift,” was an immersive weekend of political engagement, education, art immersion, and community building. The intent was to gather a diverse group of open minded individuals to speak freely about their opinions, challenge each others beliefs, and collaborate to try to tackle large-scale societal issues. My role within the Marketing function was to produce a short ad that explained the event and motivated people to attend. I also designed and edited static content for social media to promote ticket sales, digital engagement, and post event activation within the community. Helping this not-for-profit grassroots movement achieve its goals was my main motivation throughout this project. Seeing their success is the ultimate payment for this marketing effort.
